Zone 10-11

Sleak, very slim, and rated to about 25 feet, Solitaire palm, Ptychosperma elegans, fits in anywhere in South Florida.  Space is not an issue, and with moderate mature height, you probably should have a few Solitaire palms

Because Solitaire palm has one trunk, we often see Solitaire palm planted in groups.  This need not be because if you have one here and one there, there is no mistaking Solitaire palm with Areca palm or other clumping palms.  Think of Solitaire palm as an accent plant

Handles periods of light drought, and food needs are moderate

Plant in most any loose soil with a sunny exposure; water to establish and fuss a little year one, then expect carefree growth
